Video Consultations

The practice now offers a new video consultation service for limited appointments. Currently, these are in trial phase with our First Contact Physiotherapist and Mental Health Practitioner appointments only.

Video consultations are extremely safe and secure, and you will receive the same professional and confidential treatment you would in the practice or over the phone. This service is supplied by Accurx, which is a trusted software supplier to the NHS. You can learn more on there security by clicking here.

For answers to any questions you may have, please see below.

Q: Who can I have a video consultation with?

A: As this is a new service to the practice, we currently only offer video consultations with our First Contact Physiotherapist, and our Mental Health Practitioner.

Q: How do video consultations work?

A: A few minutes before your appointment, the clinician will send you a text message. This message will include a link for you to follow on your smartphone, tablet or computer.

You will then be asked to test your microphone to make sure everything is working properly. If this is your first video consultation, you will be prompted to give permission to access your camera and microphone for the video call to work.

The website link we provide you with will walk you through everything with clear and simple instructions.

Q: Are video consultations safe and secure?

A: Accurx, which supplies our video consultations, is extremely safe and secure, and is widely trusted throughout the NHS. To learn more, you can visit their website by clicking here.
