Please ensure you have ordered all of your repeat prescriptions with at least 2 full-working days notice, accounting for the bank holidays, so that you do not run out of your medication. For help on how to order, please click here.

If you require urgent medical help when we are closed, please use the NHS 111 service online or by telephone which is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Blackpool Urgent Treatment Centre in Whitegate Health Centre will also be open from 8am to 8pm.

Due to limited resources, the practices capacity for routine GP blood test has decreased and waiting times have increased.

To help with demand, the Anticoagulation Service from Blackpool Teaching Hospitals is providing a Community Phlebotomy Service in the Whitegate Health Centre on the ground floor.

This will allow patients who require a blood test to have a booked appointment in Whitegate Health Centre, often at a reduced waiting time compared to having an appointment within the practice.

This service runs Monday to Friday, from 9:30am to 12:00, and again at 1:00pm to 4:00pm.

Evening and weekend appointments are available through our Enhanced Access service, also in the Whitegate Health Centre.
