Due to limited resources, the practices capacity for routine GP blood test has decreased and waiting times have increased.
To help with demand, the Anticoagulation Service from Blackpool Teaching Hospitals is providing a Community Phlebotomy Service in the Whitegate Health Centre on the ground floor.
This will allow patients who require a blood test to have a booked appointment in Whitegate Health Centre, often at a reduced waiting time compared to having an appointment within the practice.
This service runs Monday to Friday, from 9:30am to 12:00, and again at 1:00pm to 4:00pm.

Evening and weekend appointments are available through our Enhanced Access service, also in the Whitegate Health Centre. To book an appointment through this service, please contact the practice on 01253 344544 or 01253 951952.
