Alder Hey’s Symptom Checker
Alder Hey Children’s Hospital Trust has developed a symptom checker. This is a tool which can be used by parent/carers of children before attending A&E or Urgent Care Centres.
It offers information and advice on several of the most common illnesses in children. This can be a useful tool in aiding parents/carers in the decision of the most appropriate place to access medical attention for their children.
It also provides guidance for caring for children at home, all based on their symptoms and the severity.
